What this site keeps, and why.

The site asks for personal details on the tour request form and, when the Availability page lists residences, on its availability list. This page says what each one collects, where it goes, and how to have it removed.

Tour requests

The tour form sends your name, email address, and whatever else you fill in (a phone number, the residence, move-in timing, when you would like to visit, how to reach you, and your message) to the leasing office by email, and sends you a copy. A record of the request is kept so leasing can follow up.

The availability list

If you ask to hear when a residence becomes available, the site keeps your email address, your name if you give it, and the residence you chose, and emails you when it (or a similar floor plan, if you asked for that) is listed as available. A request lapses after 180 days. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes every availability request for your address.

What else is recorded

With each request the site stores the page it was sent from, the browser and system your browser reports (its user-agent string), and a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address, used only to limit repeated submissions. The address itself is not stored.

Cookies and tracking

The site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics trackers. Its fonts and photographs are served from the site itself, not from outside services.

Who handles it

Requests go to the leasing office of Midwest Expansion, which owns and manages The Current Roots at 333 White Cedar Parkway, Kimberly, WI 54136. The site is hosted on Vercel, requests are stored with Supabase, and email is delivered through Resend.
